How many Litres of milk make 1 kg of ghee?
30-35 litres of pure cow milk is required to make 1 kg desi ghee and the price of pure desi ghee is nearly 1000.
In a village, if we use buffalo milk to make 1 kg ghee the amount required will be less in comparison to cow milk.
If we buy homemade desi ghee, it usually varies from Rs. 800-1000. However, in the market, we can purchase Amul ghee easily for Rs. 500.
You may be worried about why it is less in the market? The reason is that in the market we get ghee with a lot of impurities whereas in the village no chemical substance is added to ghee. Generally, it is pure and natural ghee.
So, the requirement of milk may vary depending on the purity of the milk. But it is usually 30-35 litres. In the same way, the price of desi ghee may vary from one village to another and from one brand to another.
